Privacy: statistics and reports
The improvement program, crash reports and what is sent.
Kaddro never uploads your videos. Two optional things send a little information to the developers; both are in Settings under Privacy.
Kaddro improvement program
On the first launch the welcome window asks whether to take part and links to the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. In the EU, the EEA, Switzerland and the UK the box starts unticked; elsewhere it starts ticked, by your system's region. When you take part, Kaddro sends anonymous statistics on how its features are used — which screens and controls, how long jobs take — and never your videos, sound or text. Turn it off any time in Settings ▸ Privacy ▸ Kaddro improvement program.
Reports
If Kaddro quit unexpectedly last time, it offers to send a report: Kaddro's activity log and the system's error report, without your videos. Choose «Send the log» or «Don't send». You can also send the log yourself in Settings ▸ Privacy ▸ Activity log ▸ Send…. You get a report number to quote if you write to us.
