Working offline

What happens when the computer has no internet.

Kaddro works on your computer, so editing doesn't need the internet.

The licence offline

Pro and the perpetual licence are checked online. After each check Kaddro works offline for up to 7 days. With internet, the check happens by itself — at launch and every hour.

If 7 days have passed

Projects open and all editing works.
Export is temporarily as on Free: up to 720p with the mark.
AI suggestions and cloud recognition are unavailable — they need the internet anyway.

Connect to the internet and refresh your account, or restart Kaddro — everything comes back.

Turning the clock back doesn't extend the licence: Kaddro remembers the latest time it has seen.
