Terms of use

These terms are between you and the owner of the Kaddro service («we») and cover the Kaddro app, the kaddro.app website and your Kaddro account. By signing in or using the app you agree to them. If you use Kaddro for an organisation, you confirm you may agree to these terms on its behalf.
What Kaddro is
Kaddro is an app for macOS and Windows that records your screen and edits recordings: it levels the sound, recognises speech, removes retakes, pauses and unwanted sounds, crops the picture and exports video at the length you need. Editing happens on your computer. An account is needed for your plan, licence and cloud features.
Your account
- You sign in with a Google account; Kaddro has no password of its own.
- You are responsible for what happens in your account and on the devices you connect to it. If you lose a device, remove it in your account.
- Kaddro is not meant for children under 16.
Plans
- Free. The whole editor with no length limit. Export up to 720p with a small Kaddro mark, as one file. One device.
- Pro — a monthly or yearly subscription. Full-size export without the mark, a file per chapter, AI cuts and cloud recognition, each within the monthly quota shown on the pricing page. Up to three devices.
- Perpetual licence — a one-time payment. Full-size export without the mark and a file per chapter; all updates included. No AI cuts or cloud recognition, because they run on our servers. Up to three devices.
- Trial. A new account gets 7 days of Pro with no card, AI included within the quota. After that the account moves to the Free plan unless you choose another.
The licence is checked online; after each check the app works offline for up to 7 days. Quotas reset at the start of each calendar month (UTC); unused minutes do not carry over.
Licence
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Kaddro according to your plan. You may not resell the app, bypass the licence check or plan limits, take the app apart to reproduce it, or use the service in ways that harm others or break the law.
Your content
Everything you record and edit in Kaddro is yours. We acquire no rights to your content. You are responsible for having the rights to the material you process.
AI suggestions and recognition results are produced automatically and may be inaccurate. Review the result before you publish a video.
Payment
Kaddro is sold by Paddle, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle takes payment, charges taxes, sends invoices and handles refunds; Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
- Prices are shown on the pricing page; Ukraine has its own prices in hryvnias. Taxes are charged according to your country.
- A subscription renews automatically at the start of each period until you cancel it. You can cancel any time; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.
- If a payment fails, Paddle tries again; without payment the subscription ends and the account moves to the Free plan.
- Refunds follow the Refund policy.
Cloud features
AI cuts and cloud recognition are available within monthly quotas and may be briefly unavailable because of maintenance or a provider's outage. We may limit use that is clearly beyond normal or harms the service.
Availability and liability
We keep working on Kaddro, but provide it «as is», without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep copies of important recordings.
To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for Kaddro in the last 12 months. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profit or lost data. These limits do not remove consumer rights that the law of your country does not allow to be limited.
Ending
You can stop using Kaddro at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account used in breach of these terms, with notice where possible.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The new version will appear on this page with its date; we will tell you about significant changes by e-mail in advance. If you keep using Kaddro after the changes take effect, you accept them.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. We try to settle any dispute by talking first — write to us. If you are a consumer in another country, you keep the rights your country's law gives you.
